Dataset: Correlation Between FPS and Neural Jitter
Raw data from our 2025 study on 144Hz vs. 240Hz vs. 360Hz displays.

This source document provides the raw telemetry data from the 'Altered Brilliance Display Study.' We monitored the 'Neural Jitter' (the variance in motor response) of 500 participants across different refresh rates. The data confirms a diminishing return curve but highlights a significant 'Cognitive Ease' factor at higher frequencies. Even when reaction times didn't significantly improve, the participants' heart rates were lower and 'Quiet Eye' periods were longer on 360Hz displays, suggesting the brain works less hard to reconstruct motion. This data is essential for hardware enthusiasts and researchers looking to understand the intersection of display technology and neuro-fatigue.
